Welcome to the Clone-Free Certified Initiative. We are an Indigenous-led team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of food quality, transparency, and protection across Canada.

Canadians have the right to know whether their food was raised naturally on a farm, sourced from an animal, or developed using emerging laboratory technologies.

Recent regulatory changes in Canada have opened the door for novel and lab-developed food products to enter the marketplace without mandatory, clear on-package labeling that distinguishes them from traditionally raised meat. This makes it increasingly difficult for consumers to make fully informed choices about the origins of their food.

We believe transparency is not optional, it is a right.

That is why we created the Clone-Free™ Certified verification initiative. Our program provides independent assurance that certified products come from naturally raised animals and are not derived from cloning or laboratory-cultivated processes.

When customers see our Clone-Free Certified label, they choose Clone-Free™. Given a clear and transparent option, consumers prefer food that is naturally raised and honestly labeled. Our mark gives them that clarity, and they respond by supporting the producers who provide it.
